Make a clip look like a moving X-ray. Dark areas become bright, edges sharpen into outlines, and the whole frame takes on the blue of radiographic film.

Density and edges

Plate Density sets the base exposure of the inverted plate. Edge Detail emphasizes boundaries, which makes hands, faces, and objects read as structure rather than surface.

Bloom and tint

Bloom spreads a soft glow around bright structures, like light passing through translucent material. Cyan Tint moves the plate from neutral gray to radiology blue. Subjects against dark backgrounds, such as a hand or a face lit from the front, give the clearest result.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this show bones or what is inside things?

No. It inverts brightness and adds edge detail and a blue tint, which gives the look of a radiograph. It cannot see through anything.

Why is the image inverted?

A real radiograph is a negative: dense material blocks the beam and leaves the film clear, so bone prints bright and air prints dark. Inverting the tones imitates that.

What does Edge Detail do on video?

It brings out boundaries by comparing each pixel with its neighbours. High values also bring out compression noise, which flickers between frames; keep it moderate on noisy clips.

What happens to the audio?

It is copied into the export unchanged when the container can hold its codec, and re-encoded when it cannot. A note under the export button says which happened.
