Turn any clip into a moving kaleidoscope. One wedge of each frame is mirrored and repeated around the center, and everything that moves inside that wedge moves in every segment at once.
Segments, rotation, and zoom
Segments sets the symmetry, from 2 to 24. Rotation chooses which part of the frame feeds the wedge, and Zoom scales the source before the slice is taken: above 100% samples a smaller, more detailed area, below 100% a wider one.
Footage that works
Motion inside the wedge produces the most movement in the pattern. Flowers, water, crowds, city lights, and slow camera moves give smooth, blooming patterns; fast cuts make the whole pattern jump at once. For VJ loops, start from a clip with continuous motion and 6 or 8 segments.
