Twist a clip into a whirlpool around the center of the frame. Straight lines curl into spirals, and anything moving through the center is dragged around it.
Rotation, radius, and falloff
Rotation sets the angle at the center, up to 720° in either direction. Effect Radius sets how much of the frame is affected. Falloff controls how quickly the twist weakens toward the edge: low values spread the motion, high values tighten it into a small vortex.
Footage that works
Swirls read best on footage with strong lines and a subject that passes through the center: roads, corridors, crowds, water. A locked-off shot shows the vortex clearly; handheld footage makes the whole spiral wobble.
