Change the color of one thing in a clip: a shirt, a car, a wall, a logo. Pixels that match the source color are recolored to the replacement, and their shading is preserved so the object still looks lit.
Source and replacement
Set Source Color to the object’s color in the middle of its range, not a highlight or shadow. Tolerance sets how far colors may differ and still count; Strength blends the replacement with the original.
Footage that works
Replacement works best when the object’s color appears nowhere else in the shot. Saturated, evenly lit objects replace cleanly; pale or dark ones sit close to neutral and are harder to separate.
