Resize to 300×300 pixels
Create an exact 300×300 square for an avatar, directory photo, CMS thumbnail, product tile, or upload form. Each output keeps the source format and receives a filename containing its final dimensions.
The fixed square removes ambiguity when a portal rejects images with the wrong width or height. Check the same portal for separate limits on format, file size, and background color.
Crop without stretching
Cover mode scales the source until it fills the 1:1 frame, then removes content from the longer dimension. It does not squeeze a rectangular photo into a square.
Keep faces, logos, and product labels near the center. Use the full Image Resizer’s Fit inside mode instead when the complete source must remain visible.
Small-image limits
A source below 300×300 can be enlarged, but upscaling cannot recover missing texture or sharp edges. Start with at least 300px on both sides when the result will be shown at full size.
