Resize App Store screenshots to 1290×2796
Create portrait screenshots at 1290×2796, one of the sizes Apple accepts for 6.9-inch iPhone listings. App Store Connect accepts JPEG, JPG, and PNG files.
Start with one of those formats because the resizer keeps the source type. WebP output requires conversion before upload.
Screen ratio and cropping
Cover mode fills the exact screenshot canvas and crops a source with a different ratio. This can remove navigation, captions, or device-frame edges, so inspect every output before uploading it.
For screenshots composed in a design file, export directly at the target ratio when possible. Resizing is better suited to an already-finished composition than to rearranging UI and marketing copy.
