Resize a landscape logo to 1200×300
Create a 1200×300 asset with the 4:1 ratio Google uses for landscape logos. Google Ads recommends this size for responsive display ads.
The output keeps the source file format. PNG is suitable for logos that need transparency or hard edges; JPEG works for flattened artwork without transparency.
Use a matching source canvas
Cover mode crops the source until it fills the 4:1 frame. A square logo by itself will lose large areas, so place the mark on a wide canvas with deliberate side spacing before resizing.
Keep the full logo inside the center area. Do not rely on content at the far edges because ad placements can apply further scaling or cropping.
Pixel dimensions are one requirement
The resize step does not target Google’s logo file-size limit or inspect the artwork. Check the file weight, legibility, and campaign preview after export.
