Resize to a 2048×2048 square
Create an exact 2048×2048 image for a product gallery, catalog, game texture, or other high-resolution square slot. The output keeps the source format and can be downloaded individually or inside a ZIP.
The pixel count is large enough to reveal softness in a weak source. Start with an image at least 2048px on both sides when sharp detail matters.
Cover crop and edge content
Cover mode scales proportionally and trims the longer dimension. Place products and texture features near the center, leaving enough margin to absorb the crop.
Use the full Image Resizer’s Fit inside mode when every source edge must remain visible. Fit inside preserves the full image but does not guarantee an exact square canvas.
Memory and file weight
A 2048×2048 image contains more than 4 million pixels. Large batches use more browser memory and can create heavy PNG files, especially when the artwork contains transparency or fine detail. Process fewer originals at once if the tab slows down.
