Make footage look like it is coming through a failing cable or a corrupted feed. Every frame gets the same four passes, and the tearing moves on each one, so the result flickers like a real bad signal instead of sitting on the picture as a still overlay.

RGB shift

RGB Shift offsets the red and blue channels in opposite horizontal directions. Edges pick up colored fringes, and high-contrast shapes such as text and outlines split into three offset copies. Keep it low to leave faces readable.

Tearing on every frame

Horizontal Tearing picks rows at random and slides each one sideways. The rows are chosen from a seed that changes 30 times per second of source time, so a 10-second clip gets 300 different tear layouts. Pausing on a frame and exporting it gives the same layout, because the seed depends on the timestamp and not on playback.

Static and scanlines

Static Noise adds random grain to every pixel, redrawn each frame like broadcast interference. Scanlines darkens alternate rows. Scanlines are drawn in output pixels, so a 1080p export packs more of them into the frame than 720p and reads finer.

Pairing with sound

The soundtrack is copied untouched by default. For a matching broken-audio feel, run the same file through the video workflow and add a bitcrusher to the sound lane beside the glitch.
