This tool applies a customizable blur effect to any image. You can soften details, obscure sensitive information, or simulate camera techniques like motion panning and shallow depth-of-field.
Overall blur and mix
The standard blur spreads pixels evenly in all directions. Blur Amount controls the intensity—from a slight haze to complete abstraction. Blur Mix blends the blurred result back over the sharp original image. Lowering the mix is useful when you want to soften noise or skin textures without entirely destroying the underlying structure.
Directional motion
Motion blur simulates movement by smearing pixels along a specific path. Angle sets the trajectory of the blur, while Distance controls the length of the streak. If the motion effect looks stepped or jagged, increasing the Samples will smooth out the transitions at the cost of slower processing.
Selective focus
Focus blur draws attention to a specific subject by keeping one area sharp while softening the rest. Radius defines the size of the sharp center. Feather controls the smoothness of the gradient between the sharp zone and the blurred background. You can click directly on the image preview to quickly reposition the focal point.
