Delete punctuation
Paste text to remove punctuation characters across the Unicode punctuation categories. Letters, numbers, symbols, whitespace, and line breaks remain.
Wait, what? becomes Wait what.
Spaces after removal
Punctuation is deleted without changing neighboring whitespace. A dash surrounded by spaces can therefore leave an extra gap.
Open the full Text Cleaner when punctuation removal should be followed by extra-space cleanup.
Symbols are separate
Currency marks, mathematical operators, and many other symbols are not punctuation in Unicode. They remain unless another character-specific cleanup is applied.
