Crop to a square 1:1 frame
Drop an image and crop it to an even 1:1 square. A square reads consistently as a profile picture, avatar, album cover, or product thumbnail, and it’s the safe shape for an Instagram grid.
Each image opens in an editor where you drag to reposition the subject and zoom from 1× to 8× to tighten the crop. A rule-of-thirds grid helps you place the subject, and Center resets the frame.
What you get
- Original format kept. A JPEG exports as JPEG, a PNG as PNG with transparency, a WebP as WebP.
- Full resolution. Cropping removes the outside area only; the kept pixels are untouched.
- Square output sized to the largest 1:1 region that fits your framing.
Batch and privacy
Add several images, frame each, and use Download all as ZIP, or download one at a time. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
